Understands data and workflows, system interfaces and messaging. Analyze business issues and works with the Agile development team to develop application design solutions. Contributes to release planning and takes ownership of delivery. Provides leadership and mentoring to junior developers in implementing best practices and continuous delivery. Contributes to moving the tools forward with new technologies and work with Enterprise Architecture to integrate with their enterprise strategy. To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: Intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases and architecture design principles. 2-5 Years experience using a front end JavaScript framework (React/Angular, MS FAST) 2-5 Years experience using Java/Kotlin Micro services application architecture API development Experience using Java Spring Boot is a plus (or other web server framework) Knowledge of Apache Spark and PySpark a plus Design diagrams i.e. sequence diagram, activity diagram, etc. At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
