Position : Python Developer Location : Plano, TX (Day one onsite) Duration : Long Term Experience and Qualification: 8-15+ years of experience and ability to work directly with clients and senior stakeholders. Strong AWS and Python skills. Strong knowledge of AWS, Python, JavaScript Must be AWS Certified Strong software development experience designing and building distributed RESTful web application micro-services using python, Java or similar Ability to define solution options, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Azure, etc.) Experience working with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB Experience supporting products in production using observability and alerting tools like Splunk and SignalFx Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests; CI/CD experience preferred Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts (terraform, cloud-formation, etc.) Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Commitment to and hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
