Job Description: This role is for an Android Quality Engineer on the Savings team. This team is responsible for building new features and maintain existing ones that enable Kroger customers to save money throughout their shopping experience, Coupons, Digital Deals, Weekly Ads, etc. Key Responsibilities: Possess strong knowledge in testing best practices and Android UI automation. Work closely within their team to understand how the feature space works today and to understand acceptance criteria for new capabilities. Manually test new Android code as its developed to ensure a quality product is going to be delivered to our customers. Manually regression test our weekly releases to catch any bugs, defects, or showstoppers before the release is published to our customers. Write Android UI tests for all new code and to fill in any gaps for missing UI tests for legacy code. Must know the Kotlin programming language in addition to the Espresso and Jetpack Compose testing frameworks.
