Develops asynchronous and synchronous consumption mechanisms to support different use cases. Builds migration tools to facilitate the transition from the existing Audit and PayAudit services to the converged solution. Conducts development, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the converged service. Supports the onboarding of non-GP2 services that currently use PayAudit or Audit. Collaborates with stakeholders and other team members to ensure code completeness and successful deployment to production. Responsible for building the multi-region, highly available, consistent component for storing Payments Transaction state through the payment flow. Implements the design provided and ensures the system meets characteristics such as multi-region availability, high availability, and consistency. Develops the code logic, database schema, and APIs required for storing and managing transaction state. Conducts development, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the transaction journal component. Design and develop Kafka-based event-driven architectures to support real-time data processing and streaming applications. Implement Kafka producers and consumers using Java programming language. Develop custom serializers and deserializers for handling JSON data formats in Kafka messages. Integrate Kafka with API Gateway services to enable secure and efficient communication between microservices and external clients. Design and implement RESTful APIs using Java and Spring boot and photon Framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design scalable solutions that meet business needs. Optimize Kafka configurations and performance tuning to ensure high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kafka clusters to ensure system reliability and availability. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Kafka, Java, JSON, and API Gateway components. Document design decisions, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
