Job Title : Technical Product Owner with Java Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION Key Qualifications: - Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Engineer, specializing in co-developing product vision/roadmap and translating them into actionable epics, features, and stories. - Proficient in running Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, including annual and quarterly planning activities with IT, POs, and stakeholders. - Solid background (minimum 5+ years) in Enterprise Software Development, with expertise in RDMS, SQL, PL/SQL, etc. - Experience in conducting comprehensive research of existing processes and systems to align product goals with organizational objectives. - Proven ability to collaborate with Product Managers and SMEs to prioritize feature development based on business value. - Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle processes. - Familiarity with working closely with software engineers within an agile development framework. - Ability to elicit, create, and refine epics/features, along with documenting requirements using various artifacts. - Experience in conducting testing, tracking bugs, and ensuring resolution before production deployment. - Proficiency in utilizing data and analysis to support solution impact and process improvements. - Previous exposure to product companies or startups is preferred. - Familiarity with Data Analytics tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc. - Hands-on experience with SQL queries in relational databases. Responsibilities: - Manage project scope and timelines effectively. - Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups. - Coach team members in Agile frameworks and facilitate internal communication. - Act as the point of contact for external communications. - Collaborate with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests. - Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to ensure smooth project execution. - Guide development teams towards higher scrum maturity. - Drive innovation and end-to-end launch of products. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and launch products/features. - Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements. - Prioritize and maintain sprint backlogs for assigned products. - Lead the product functional design process. - Define and execute go-to-market plans for products. - Develop and maintain tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch.
