Position: Project Manager - Finance Model Development, Transportation Sector (Transportation / Finance PM) Location: Nashville, TN - HYBRID Notes: Locals will be highly preferred! Job Description: Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the transportation sector. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the development of financial models specific to our transportation projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion within set timelines. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement financial models: Design and develop financial models to evaluate financial performance and financial feasibility. Development of analysis to test sensitivity in financial performance to changes in key inputs Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and reliable models are created. Enhance and/or review existing financial models based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business requirements. 2. Project management: Create project plans, including objectives, timelines, and resources required. Coordinate with cross-functional teams Track and monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and any deviations from the plan. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and meet quality standards. 3. Stakeholder management: Communicate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to gather requirements and align project objectives with organizational goals. As needed on a project basis, collaborate with key external stakeholders, such as clients, partners, and vendors, to gather necessary inputs and ensure seamless coordination. 4. Skills and Abilities: Strong financial modeling skills, with demonstrable experience in building complex financial models for project finance and related transactions. Solid understanding of financial planning and analysis principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
