Job Title: Systems Architect Type: Contract Location: Detroit , MI (Onsite) JOB DESCRIPTION: Our Client is looking for a Systems Architect to work with an interdisciplinary team to develop platforms that will enable the worlds best audio experiences in a car . The tasks at hand focus on development of a wide range of technologies ranging from entertainment audio to cabin sound management as well as a range of deployment methodologies. You will work closely together with hardware, software, algorithm in specifying and crafting solutions including but not limited to embedded and laptop-based solutions. You will own the development of the overall system architecture and requirements development. The engineer should be able to conceive, analyze and optimize across both hardware and software environments. How youll make an impact: Study customer needs Develop system architectures Collaborate with multi-functional development teams Produce excellent user documentation Influence product technical direction with customers and internal teams Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years engineering Requirements Writing Architecture Development Leadership Problem Solving Nice to have skills: Audio Processing Acoustics The development tasks include Requirements Management Systems Decomposition and Design Communicating with stakeholders to identify what they want a system to accomplish. Leading a cross functional team to develop system designs Use modeling techniques to evaluate how they might perform in the real world. Defining and supporting systems integrations testing Test to ensure that solution accomplishes what it is supposed to. Intentionally break the system to identify any problem areas. Must have demonstrable experience with embedded software systems as well as audio architectures. It is also highly desired that the individual can demonstrate knowledge of general-purpose processor architectures, such as ARM as well as DSPs and GPUs. Also critical is the ability to work directly with customers, providing solutions real time. The work involves occasional travel.
