The WCS coordinates material handling sub-systems such as converyor belts, carousels, scales and sorters. A Warehouse Execution System (WES) imizes order fulfillment and improves throughput by dynamically prioritizing tasks, consolidating orders, imizing routing, allocating resources efficiently, adapting in real-time, monitoring performance metrics, and integrating with automation technologies. YOU WILL SEE A LOT OF THIS NOT THE CORRECT WCS (IBM WebSphere) Commerce Software this is the wrong one nothing to do with Warehouse control system (WCS)Preferred: They dont have to have Spring boot but is a real nice to have. Most of these roles are on the project side which isnt Spring boot just Spring, SQL Anywhere, JPA. Experience with developing resilient Spring-based microservices Microservices is a plus. Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent experience considered This will make or break the candidate qualification and write up on below points: Have you ever programmed a physical hardware device in the warehouse directly, not through an API i.e. Devices used inside the 4 walls in warehouse i.e. what devices scanners, sorters, conveyors, cranes, lifts, or other robotics devices inside a warehouse. Also, they program everything on Prem not cloud and they dont use cloud. 5-7 years as a developer using Java, Angular, SQL or similar tech stack. Java, Backend development, APIs, Restful services, Web services, TCP/IP, JPA, Postgres SQL for databases, AzureDevops, etc. They use the latest Angular version for the front-end but are not required because they won't be doing front-end development. Expertise in writing and maintaining SQL queries (JDBC / iBatis / Stored Procedures) Experience in API design for client-server applications.
