Job Title : Lead Backend Engineer Location: Broadway, New York, NY (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION *** Must have experience leading a Team of at least 10 developer and must be primarily on the backend side with Java, we are not looking for a Full stack person*** Required Skills & Experience * Expert-level experience in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design and development * Expert-level experience in web technologies across client/server-side (JS, CSS, HTML5, React) * Experience Leading a Team of 10+ Full-Stack Developers * Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture/RESTful services * Expert-level experience in relational database design and development (SQL, Sybase) * Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments * Bachelor's degree in computer science, with 8 to 10 years of professional development experience, and at least 4+ years of Financial Services industry experience Nice to Have Skills & Experience * Any experience working with Snowflake databases and Snowflake data sharing will be a plus. * Any experience working with unstructured data management tools. * Excellent problem-solving skills, goal-oriented, self-motivated and adapts to changing situations and requirements. * Any experience working with Python AI/ML libraries will be a plus. * Implementation experience in Cloud Based platforms will be a plus, especially any Azure experience or certifications. * Working knowledge of Python, especially AI/ML libraries would be desired. * Should be willing to try hands-on with newly evolving technologies. * Expert-level experience in Python and object-oriented design and development Job Description MSIM Marketing Tech Data Development Lead will be responsible for working on suite of applications with hands-on BU interface, application design, development and production support for Java & Sybase based application platforms in the field of Digital Marketing and Content Management. The position will report into a Head of Marketing Ops within Marketing Technology.
