Job Title : Lead Data Engineer Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION Summary: My client is seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the construction of high-level technical designs for both streaming and batch processing systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting reusable components, frameworks, and libraries on a large scale to bolster our analytics data products. Your role will involve conducting proof-of-concepts on emerging technologies, collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to implement product features, and identifying and addressing data management issues to enhance data quality. Key Responsibilities: Design high-level technical solutions for streaming and batch processing. Develop reusable components for analytics data products. Collaborate on product feature implementation. Drive new data projects and architecture. Establish CI/CD frameworks. Lead design and code reviews. Analyze data for scalable solutions. Mentor offshore Data Engineers. Partner with product and engineering management. Requirements: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in: Snowflake (Columnar MPP Cloud data warehouse), including Snowpark DBT (ETL tool) Python Designing and implementing Data Warehouse Healthcare knowledge (Nice to have exp with healthcare provider data) MDM exp (TAMR preferred, it is nice to have) Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure/AWS cloud technology. Proficiency in SQL objects (procedures, triggers, views, functions) in SQL Server, including SQL query optimizations. Understanding of T-SQL, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, etc. Design and development of Azure/AWS Data Factory Pipelines preferred. Design and development of data marts in Snowflake preferred. Working knowledge of Azure/AWS Architecture, Data Lake, Data Factory. Business analysis experience to analyze data, write code, and drive solutions. Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
