This involves the use of a suite of software tools to view and diagnose an applications speed, reliability, and other performance metrics in order to maintain an optimal level of service. This will include performance testing, synthetic monitoring, real-user monitoring, and root-cause analysis for performance and availability. Role 1. Utilizing application performance monitoring platforms with full stack monitoring tool like Dynatrace, new relic or datadog. 2. Supporting, upgrading, patching, automating and maintaining an application hosting environment. 3. Performing automated testing and reporting results. 4.experience with performance test scripting and execution, with load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Fiddler, Firebug, JProfileror other load/performance testing tool 5. experience with writing automated synthetic monitors. 6. Analyze system performance results, diagnose performance problems, and develop action plans based on performance testing results and performance monitoring data 7. Leverage APM tools in test environments 8. Respond to, triage and follow up on production alerts. 9.Working experience with CI / CD Tools & DevOps Culture.: Azure Dev Ops, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or similar. 10. Identify performance thresholds that would require scaling of environments, and make recommendations on hardware changes necessary to address increased scalability requirements 11. Implementing APM best practices. This includes implementing monitoring solutions provide end-to-end monitoring of applications, helping teams with setting up effective monitors, alerts to help alert and diagnose application issues that could potentially affect the business. 12. At least 3 years experience in Performance testing and full stack Monitoring in an enterprise environment. 13. Experience in performance testing and monitoring of Web Services based environments, including but not limited to SOAP and REST services.
