Position : Braze Engineer Location : Columbus, OH Remote Long term contract Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement Braze integrations and solutions tailored to clients' needs. Develop and maintain custom features and functionality within the Braze platform to support client requirements. Integrate Braze's SDKs into mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web applications to enable push notifications, in-app messaging, and email campaigns. Configure and optimize automated workflows and segmentation strategies to maximize the impact of messaging campaigns. Implement tracking and analytics solutions to measure the effectiveness of messaging campaigns and user engagement. Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of the Braze platform and recommend best practices for implementation. Troubleshoot technical issues related to Braze integrations and provide timely resolution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). years of experience working as a software engineer, with a focus on mobile app development and/or marketing technology platforms. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript (for web), Swift (for iOS), Kotlin or Java (for Android), and Python or Ruby (for backend). Hands-on experience with Braze or similar customer engagement platforms is highly preferred. Strong understanding of mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
