Position: 100% Remote Performance Test Lead Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ months Job Description The PT Execution Shift Lead is responsible for coordinating the execution of each Performance Test scenario, directing the work of the Performance Test Execution team, during their shift. Ensuring all team members properly fulfill their roles Reviewing the results of tests Leading the triage of issues, escalating where necessary We work in shifts and its a 16/7, hence the title is PT Shift Lead. Responsibilities: Accountable for daily (hour to hour) test review and test execution Provide inputs into changes to the daily and weekly testing schedule Log, track & escalate issues Coordinate shift hand over / take over Own coordination of environment housekeeping (i.e. PT journal, tracking backup & restore, versions deployed in each environment, test case generation, etc) Required Qualifications: IS/IT experience, including experience in Performance Testing. BS or equivalent in computer science or engineering. Experience with HP Load runner or similar load testing tools. Experience operating Jmeter, Jenkins, Java Virtual Machines. Experience with monitoring tools: Splunk, Appd, Grafana, Lpar2rrd. Experience with Unix commands and scripting. Good data collection/analysis/compilation/data comparison/data presentation skills. Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies. Understanding of any version management tool like SVN, VSS etc. Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly Ability to apply technical knowledge and experiences to facilitate the resolution of various technical issues. Does not have to solve them alone, but must be able to lead a group of SMEs from different disciplines in order to arrive at a solution Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication. Strong problem solving skills: innovation, collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Operational experience with at any of the following: UNIX, Oracle, Networking or Middleware, Batch processing, Informatica, Network architecture, Storage architecture, AIX, Weblogic Understanding of and experience in leading development efforts on the J2EE platform. Knowledge of Oracle technologies: Oracle 11g and PL/SQL (Query plans, AWR Reports etc.) Understanding of performance testing concepts (CPU Utilization, Response time, network latency, think time, etc.).
