Role: Program Manager Location: Columbus, Ohio (Remote) Duration: 3-12 Months contract Interview: Video/ Phone Need LinkedIn profile link Job Description: Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities for complete life-cycle of projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions designed to meet requirements of various departments in the company, such as distribution, finance, and manufacturing. Designs project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel. Accountable for activities with excess delivery cycles of 8 to 12 months. Accountable for the approval and sign-off of the program plan with customer representatives, such as portfolio managers, and all affected program stakeholders. Accountable for management of scope for the program and gaining agreement and approval of scope changes with customer representatives and affected stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives. Direct work planning and scheduling design work. Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan. Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related issues and resolution of issues. Coordinate and present proposals to agencies as necessary. Identify and manage program risk and develop risk mitigation strategies, track to closure. Ensure team leads adjust and revise estimates when necessary. Anticipate issues and proactively address them. Resolve conflicts with sensitivity and Coordinate the establishment of program standards and program specific procedures with team leads. Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance Required Skills Matrix: Skills Required No. Years of Exp experience using Azure DevOps to coordinate work 4 Years Scrum Master on a product team 4 Years experience using the Scrum framework Required 4 Years overseeing vendor lead projects ensuring successful delivery of contract scope and deliverables. 5 Years designing & implementing project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget 7 Years previous experience in enterprise (10 project team members or budget greater than $500,000) program/project planning and management function 5 Years experience using Team Foundations Server or Azure DevOps to manage the product backlog and report team metrics. 4 Years Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with experience in Project Management. Experience with Azure DevOps for work management is required. Experience coaching new development teams and product owners to use scrum. Experience using SAFe is highly desirable. Must be comfortable holding the Scrum Master role for up to 2 teams and/or managing IT projects using waterfall and hybrid approaches. A strong understanding of program management concepts is preferred, and Great communication skills are paramount.
