As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products in collaboration with Mastercard's projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality test automation solutions and a deep understanding of software testing methodologies in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of automated test frameworks using Java and related technologies to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications integrated with Mastercard's systems. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test strategies. Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team, providing technical leadership and sharing best practices for test automation, code quality, and software testing methodologies. Drive the adoption of test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices within the organization to ensure early and continuous validation of software functionality. Establish and maintain automated testing pipelines and continuous integration (CI) processes to enable efficient and reliable software delivery in alignment with Mastercard's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze test results and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in software quality, test coverage, and test effectiveness, and collaborate with development teams to address them proactively. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and trends in software testing and quality assurance, and evaluate their applicability to enhance our testing capabilities and processes. Collaborate with Mastercard's technical teams to understand their specific integration requirements and ensure seamless interoperability between our software solutions and Mastercard's platforms and services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software development and quality assurance, with a focus on test automation using Java. Extensive experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG, as well as related tools and libraries. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles, with a demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation best practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Previous experience working with financial services organizations, preferably with Mastercard, and familiarity with their systems and processes is highly desirable. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
