Automation Tester (Playwright)::::Remote:::Contract Job Description: Have proven technical experience in analysing requirements, preparing automation script design & execution plan, performing Functional automation, In-sprint automation, End to End automation and Regression automation testing activities. Hands-on experience and expertise on Playwright tool (Node JS, Java Script) and Framework. Develop, enhance, and maintain the automation frameworks. Follow the expected standards and automate UI/API scripts using Playwright with NodeJS and JavaScript (JS) automation framework. Hands on Web and API testing and automation experience using BDD Cucumber-JavaScript, Gherkin, Postman and REST. Perform automation script failure analysis, identify the root cause, fix the automation scripts, and re-execute the same. Automate Smoke test cases, Functional test cases, End to End test cases, Regression test cases and add it in CI/CD pipeline. Peer-review the automation scripts and share the feedback to the team. Good knowledge on JavaScript and NodeJS concepts. Understanding on Design patterns is required. Good knowledge on Scrum, GIT Hub, Bitbucket. Achieve the expected First-time pass % for End to End and Regression automation scripts. Have good work experience in test management tools - ADO. Track all the automation metrics and publish it to internal & client leadership team. Bring in automation best practices & tools/accelerators based on the landscape. Provide guidance & train other team members in new automation skills. Attend all Scrum ceremonies and provide the updates on Automation to the client stakeholders. P&C Insurance domain knowledge / work experience is must. Experience in PAS System, Rating, and related tools & framework.
