We are looking for SQL DBA & Development Lead for one of the client located in Kansas City MO. Consultant must be local to Kansas City MO only. Job Title: Technical Lead - SQL DBA & Development Location: Kansas CIty, Missouri Start Date: ASAP Duration: 4-6 month initial commitment w/likely extension Description: GROMs direct customer is seeking a SQL DBA lead consultant with 9+ years of experience for an immediate contract opportunity. The individual selected for this position will lead a small team to deliver SQL database administration and SQL application development. The selected candidate will have demonstrated lead experience where they have overseen small teams. Candidates should be certified in Microsoft SQL Server and have strong experience in MS SQL Server. Candidates should have experience performing administration tasks like installation, maintenance, configuration, backup & restore, database security, database designing, etc together with experience upgrading SQL DB like SQL 2012, 2014, 2016 to 2019. Candidates should have strong experience with SSRS and SSIS, and experience with data center migrations/ETL. The selected candidate will also be responsible for SQL development activities including analyzing new requirements and developing appropriate solutions. The selected candidate will perform root cause analysis to debug existing code and resolve defects. Strong application development experience is required within SQL, C#, Java, and Power experience is required within SQL, C#, Java, and Power. Candidates must be local to Kansas City.
