Position: Kafka Admin Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Job description : The Confluent Kafka Administrator - is responsible for provisioning, administration, security, monitoring of Kafka environments. The administrator is expected to provide day-to-day operational support, and work with Development/Product partners to service their needs. Devops experience automate using terraform, Kubernetes, Create environments, clusters in Confluent Kafka Cloud Expertise in defining, installing, maintaining Schema Registry Create, manage source/sink Connectors to different systems. Provision users and service accounts with appropriate roles and ACLs. Develop security guidelines specific for environment. Aid in automation of operations e.g. moving connectors, topics from lower to higher environments. Configure monitoring with Dynatrace, Splunk Maintain API Keys Expertise in Cluster Linking and Replicator Develop and define procedures to handle operational scenarios. Experience in tuning Producers/Consumers for throughput/lag. Knowledge of Terraform Experience with Confluent Kafka provisioning, administration, security. Knowledge of working in Cloud paradigm and Networking concepts 5 years experience with Confluent Cloud or Kafka Platform administration. 5 years of IT experience 2-3 years of working in Cloud.
