Team members familiarize themselves with our MAF infrastructure components and manage MAF code repositories, continuous integration, and infrastructure. Must Have Experience: We prefer candidates at least 8+ years in a professional DevOps role who have a STEM undergraduate degree. This level of education & experience lays a solid foundation in modern platform technologies and industry standard methodologies. Experience with AWS services including how networking and application deployments are done via various methods.. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including cluster administration and tooling for deploying and managing K8s cluster (EKS is a big plus). CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, TravisCI, CircleCI, AppVeyor, etc) Good understanding of GitOps theory. Role: Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small-scale systems. Automate tools to monitor system health and reliability to support business process requirements. Contribute to cost optimization in cloud. Resisting and removing the accrual of technical debt in our systems. Build proof-of-concept applications or conducting exploratory experiments with MAF research. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Communicate status and risks to the product teams. Help automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
