Position: Network Engineer Duration: 12+ months Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite) Job Description: Position is 3X onsite (Tuesday/Thursday and one day of your choice/team) We had a Call with the HM for Network engineer, and heres what we heard: Project divided in 2- Phase 1 and phase 2. Phase 1 is documentation and training. Phase 2: Panaroma , Firewall (Palo alto) AWS/ Azure F5 (Web application firewall, less of Load balancers- Mainly ASM) Position Overview: As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our clients' network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of various networking components, including AWS/Azure environments, VPNs, security groups, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 ASM, and Aruba wireless solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions, including AWS/Azure environments, VPN configurations, security groups, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 ASM, and Aruba wireless systems. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and uptime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades, patches, and enhancements. Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, procedures, and best practices. Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding network-related inquiries and issues. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve network efficiency and security. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in maintaining and supporting network infrastructure in a corporate environment. In-depth knowledge of AWS/Azure environments, VPN technologies, security groups, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 ASM, and Aruba wireless solutions. Strong understanding of networking protocols and principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.). Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and clients. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
