Job Title : Security Architect Location: Remote (Occasionally onsite at Columbus, Ohio) (Need Locals Only) Duration: 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION - Seeing this role as a lead - Team - platform engineering - underline infrastructure, frameworks and responsible for middleware and database architecture guidance - Team of Systems Architects - years of experience 7+ years minimum with a couple years experience with this specific experience - primarily focused on security architecture - ket task lead smaller team of Security Engineers focusing on resolving vulnerabilities found in code on cloud side - Lead and get vulnerabilities resolved in tool - once vulnerabilities come up with remediation solution - Work with Security Engineers to get vulnerabilities resolved - Guide Engineers and tell them what needs to be done -Also use Kubernetes Clusters and this person has a good understanding of RBAC in Kubernetes so they can manage to set up right amount of permissions and roles in kubernetes - They use tool - Aqua - Nice to have: Past experience experience managing RBAC in Kubernetes Clusters - AWS highly preferred (Azure or GCP -Financial services is a plus not required - No Certs needed/required Top 4 skills: - Understanding of vulnerability management in Cloud - Ability to monitor, track, and triage - some ability to lead set of people to get work done (Guide Security Engineers) - Knowledge of Kubernetes Clusters Job Description: Team Focus: Microservices, Cloud Native Architecture, Target Architectures, Application development Frameworks, Integration Technologies, and the DevOps Toolchain. Required Skill Set: (Technical + Soft Skills) Very good understanding and experience with Vulnerability management including security finding monitoring, triage and remediation planning in AWS. Experience in access security management in AWS IAM service. Good understanding of RBAC security in Kubernetes clusters. Experience working with Cloud Security Posture Management and Runtime Container Security tools Experience in vulnerability management using SAST and dependency management tools. Ability to lead a small team of security engineers responsible for vulnerability remediation work Nice To Have Skill Set: (Technical + Soft Skills) Experience in managing access security in Kubernetes clusters Experience in configuring detective and preventive controls and policy management in Kubernetes. Experience in vulnerability management using SAST and dependency management tools including Fortify, CodeQL, OWASP dependency-check and Dependabot.
