Must have developed AR/VR solutions for at least for 2/3 years. Must have experience deploying AR/VR solutions for wide consumption. Must have led technical design and given direction to a development team toward AR/VR solutions Must have experience working in a multi-vendor and multi-application environment Must have work throughout the software development lifecycle with a focus on operationalizing solutions Ability to build relationship and a willingness to learn and develop is essential to be successful in this role. He/ she will need to proactively reach out to Business and work with architects and software engineers to gain alignment and deliver on commitment. Experience : Technical Lead (Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality) - Senior software engineer that Extended Reality (XR) solutions (Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR)) in compliance with Chevron guardrails and industry best practice. Experience with HMDs, Android application frameworks and deployment, modern web application development, DevOps tooling, Digital Content Creation workflows (ex: Blender, Unity, 3ds Max), and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (SCORM), WebAR, and Connected Worker systems; understanding of non-functional characteristics of XR technologies, performance requirements, scaling infrastructure resources, rendering constraints, and mechanisms for consuming rich media. Experience with patterns for distributing and updating applications to mobile marketplaces and deploying web applications; Experience with design patterns. Job Description : This is a technical leadership role in XR solution who will guide and lead other practitioners. In this role you will Ensure quality technical delivery, reduces technical debt and drives modernization. Coach engineers to build with engineering discipline through mentoring and design or code reviews, Advocates for automation and automated provisioning practices; reusability, testing, modularity, scalability, observability and integration. Effectively communicates with both technical and non-technical audiences and translates the needs of the end users to engineering team.
