Loging, tracing, everything #2 need: Azure APIM (formerly known as Gateway) #3 need: Kubernetes #4 need: Getlab Position Overview: As a DevOps Tech Lead you will play a crucial role within the Omni Channel DevOps team, focusing on our innovative Mobile App project. Collaborating closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams, you'll spearhead the definition and implementation of CI/CD and Azure cloud Devops requirements to support seamless commerce initiatives. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, organizational acumen, and interpersonal skills to enhance internal team experiences and drive pragmatic solutions for complex challenges. Responsibilities: Design, manage, and maintain operational process automation tools on internally hosted infrastructure to enhance development delivery, collaborating with Agile Product teams to identify optimization opportunities. Set up APM, logs, and traces on Datadog for various selling channels such as Site, App, and Stores. Configure Gitlab CI/CD and integrations with Azure cloud environments, Artifactory, automation testing tools, Datadog, Hashicorp Vault, Morpheus, Harbor, etc. Collaborate with IT Infrastructure to establish Morpheus automation frameworks for fully automating code deployments. Provide support for Azure APIM design requirements and monitor Azure cloud deployments and application performance. Administer necessary tools or environments to support Digital Operations and troubleshoot and resolve issues in code deployments and pipeline monitoring across all environments. Partner with IT Security to implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validations. Work with developers and other DevOps engineers to test system integrity and ensure website stability and operational integrity through team-based on-call rotations and defect triage. Stay updated on relevant technologies, participate in user groups, and identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in an infrastructure or DevOps role supporting development community activities. Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), API Management, Azure Functions, Ingress, Container Registry, and Azure Load Balancer. Proficiency in software process automation using scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, , and/or Power. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Ansible, Go, etc. Experience configuring and managing databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB. Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Familiarity with build tooling for react.js, node.js, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud applications. Experience with Morpheus Cloud Automation, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC). Technology Snapshot: Required: Gitlab Datadog (APM, Log Tracing, etc.) Azure (hands-on experience) Gitlab CI/CD scripting Containerization and Orchestration, Docker / Kubernetes, etc. Nice to have: Python scripting Azure APIM Azure APIM GraphQL Gateway Azure Functions Azure Containers Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Software Engineering experience. Experience with 3rd party digital e-commerce platforms such as IBM Sterling OMS, Radial OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available mission-critical service. Familiarity with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies. Proficiency in related software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Datadog, Artifactory, Npm, Grafana, Prometheus, SonarQube. Strong technical project management and documentation skills.
