From: Shivam Pachauri, Tek inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - ETL Developer/Informatica Senior Local Candidates Only Location: Must be on-site in McLean, t,w,th from day one, Assignment Type: 6 months, possible extension Must Haves: 5+ Informatica power center, Informatica cloud IICS, Scripting, Automation testing ( must have Selenium & Cucumber cucumber & either Java or Python) Schedule: 40 hr. Standard hours To ensure success as an ETL Developer, you should have extensive knowledge of Informatica and data warehouse concepts. Have experience with ETL Testing and Test automation suites software. ETL Developer Responsibilities: Work with product owners, developers, and analysts to define, develop, and deliver code enhancements, and regression test suite Assist in the design, development, test, maintenance, and support of Data mart applications Troubleshoot and tune existing data mart applications. Assist in creating new or enhanced components of the data mart. Help with updating Automated testing routines Implement best practices and methodologies and function as a technical expert in the design, development, modification and debugging of ETL code. Work with team to clarify the requirements and scope and test developed solutions to ensure accurate business outcomes Support the development of new software or enhances existing software and integrate into new or modified systems and/or operational environments Troubleshooting any issues that may arise Provide maintenance, and Production support when needed ETL Developer Requirements: 5 or more years of experience in the Data warehousing field 3+ years of experience using Informatica PowerCenter 8x/9x/10x 2+ years of experience with Informatica Cloud tool IICS / IDMC. Experience with Automation test suites Selenium, Cucumber, and Java/Python Expertise with scripting languages including SQL, Unix Scripting Strong experience with Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling techniques, proficiency in design and implementation of Star and Snowflake schemas Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with Columnar Databases Clear communication skills Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
