Position: Automation Engineer PLC/HMI Location: Onsite at Los Angeles, CA Duration: 6 months (contract to hire) Job Description We are seeking a Mid-Senior level Automation Engineer experienced in instrumentation and control systems; mainly, in Rockwell products (i.e. AB CLX/Compact Logix, RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk) for long-term projects in its Southern California location. As an automation engineer consultant, you will be responsible for design, configuration, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the plant control system. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), Computer Science or related field with 5-10 years of direct experience in Biotechnology and/or Pharmaceutical. Must have Allen Bradley PLC/HMI configuration experience for continuous and batch processes Understanding of Project Lifecycle from conceptual design phase through startup, commissioning, and qualification Hands-on experience with instrumentation, process equipment, and control panels Ability to read and understand P&IDs, Electrical schematics, and M/P diagrams Ability to develop, review, and edit logic narratives and logic charts Develop and execute testing protocols for PCS/BAS/Facilities & Utilities Exceptional troubleshooting skills Excellent organizational and communication/people skills Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Rockwell PlantPAx (DCS) and Industrial Networks Experience with fill/finish lines in Biopharma Understanding of electrical design fundamentals and Power Distribution Systems Ability to reverse engineer existing controls systems in migration projects Project Management experience and PMP certification (Senior level applicants only) Keywords: access management information technology California Idaho Automation Engineer PLC-HMI Onsite at CA [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1352679&uid= |
