They are installing a new z16 mainframe system in June. Must Haves: 1) A minimum of eight years of experience as a Systems Programmer in IBM Mainframe technologies 2) Must have experience with CICS, MQ, SMP/E and general IBM mainframe systems programming 3) Eight years of experience maintaining 3rd party software packages on IBM mainframes including Broadcom-CA. 4) Deep experience in providing production IBM mainframe support is required. 5) Demonstrate a detailed knowledge mainframe systems programming, as well as experience in the installation/maintenance of IBM and 3rd party software packages, performance management and resource tuning. Responsibilities Administer in a large-scale z/OS mainframe environment Apply and support IBM software maintenance Apply and support software maintenance of 3rd party software packages, primarily Broadcom Participate in after-hours support rotation CICS and MQ Systems Programming support Disaster Recover/Business Continuity Maintain mainframe architecture and strategies to ensure performance, availability, integrity of our systems Extrapolate performance numbers from SMF data Required Experience A minimum of eight years of experience as a Systems Programmer in IBM Mainframe technologies Must have experience with CICS, MQ, SMP/E and general IBM mainframe systems programming Eight years of experience maintaining 3rd party software packages on IBM mainframes including Broadcom-CA.
