Role: .NET Architect Type: 7 month Contract Location: Fort Mills, SC (HYBRID ROLE) candidate will be expected to be onsite 3-4 days/week at client office located in Fort Mills, SC Company: Publicis Sapient Visa: NO H1B CPT/OPT Interview Process: * 1-2 internal interview * 1 final client interview * all will be done via Microsoft Teams This person will be Maintain .Net based Legacy applications that interface with Hardwares such as Cameras, RFDI Readers, GPIOs et Skills | Must-Haves: * 7+ years of US based, professional experience * solid .NET experience * experience with web development technologies including ReactJS/NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS * Microsoft Azure platform and services experience -- including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database * familiarity with IoT, IoT Hub, IoT Edge or related IoT solutions available in market * experience working in engineering product that interfaces with Hardware Job Description: Responsibilities: Maintain .Net based Legacy applications that interface with Hardwares such as Cameras, RFDI Readers, GPIOs etc. Maintain .Net based on premise services and websites and Data integration Design cloud-based applications on the Microsoft Azure platform using .NET and PaaS technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including , product owners, architects, developers, and system administrators, to design scalable and reliable solutions Work with development team & tech leads to explain technical requirements, review deliverables and plan for smooth releases Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Azure-based applications Help team to troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Stay up to date with the latest cloud services, tools, and best practices Document code, solutions, and technical specifications Experience: Experience of developing an Engineering product that interfaces with Hardware, including experience on Integration of required Protocol Stack Experience in System Design consisting of multi-layer architecture Proficient in .NET development using C# and the .NET framework Familiarity with web development technologies, including ReactJS/NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS Knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform and services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions with high scalability, availability, and security Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps and Git Understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with IOT, IOT Hub, IOT Edge or related IOT solutions available in market Experience of leading a cross domain, cross geography Engineering team working on different components of the system Awareness of Retail or Rental domain is a plus Awareness of RFID technology is a plus Best Regards, Manendra Das Technical Recruiter, Vyze Inc.
