USC GC YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will learn the technical and business processes we support and become a trusted advisor that our partners in both the business and IT rely on to solve problems, drive improvements, and promote a culture of strong process governance. You should be adept in the agile delivery methodology that include partnering with the Product Owner to stock the product backlog, refine the product backlog, creation of user stories, and define acceptance criteria. You will also assist the agile team with test planning, test scripting, test execution, validation of test results, creation and maintenance of process documentation. You will work with business analysts from other functions and with our partners in the business to effectively document and communicate insights and findings of analysis, including root cause analysis (RCA). As a member of cross-functional project teams, you will advocate for our customers and ensure their interests are represented. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You are an IT professional who is detail oriented and enjoys working with people to solve problems collaboratively. In the course of your career, you should have demonstrated strong data analytical and visualization skills with large and complex data sets using SQL queries and Microsoft Excel, and other analytic tools. You have very strong written and verbal communication skills and yet continually strive to improve in these areas. Your technical experience allows you to confidently discuss topics related to software development and testing, data movement and ETL processes, and SQL databases. You pride yourself on being able to make order of chaos and the idea of creating clear and detailed process maps and documents gets you excited. Finally, you are a motivated and strong self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS If you have experience in insurance or financial services, you will be able to learn our processes faster. Also, if you have previously worked for at least 5+ years in data-centric environments with complex transformations and business rules, you will thrive in this role. Experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies will help you integrate with our organizations work style more quickly.
