The successful candidate will play a key role in migrating our existing reporting systems to PowerBI, ensuring seamless integration, data accuracy, and optimal performance. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey and make a significant impact on our business processes. It is a BI Developer who specifically has migration experience moving things to PowerBI (Ideally from Tableau or Cognos). Also SAS experience is a huge plus. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective PowerBI solutions. Design, develop, and implement PowerBI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Perform data modeling, ETL, and data cleansing activities to prepare datasets for reporting purposes. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in PowerBI reports and data visualizations. Optimize PowerBI performance by fine-tuning queries, optimizing data models, and implementing best practices. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption of PowerBI as the primary reporting tool. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in PowerBI development and recommend improvements to existing processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as a BI Developer with a focus on PowerBI, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard design. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks. Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Microsoft SSRS. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures.
