Must Haves: 5+ years knowledge of personal lines insurance (Automobile and Homeowners) Ratabase knowledge OneShield personal lines platform knowledge OneShield Designer knowledge Job Description: The Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with business subject matter experts and process owners to understand business issues and elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for automation projects that are medium in size and/or moderate in complexity. Develops consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined functional and non-functional requirements that are used by I/S project managers, architects, designers, developers, and testers to deliver the business solution. Works with the business, developers, and other team members to resolve inconsistencies and inadequacies in requirements. Stays connected to the project for the entire software development lifecycle to manage the verification and fulfillment of all requirements. Completes activities according to business analysis center of excellence best practices, standard operating procedures, and team member guidance, consistently meeting quality standards and striving to add value in each activity. 5+ years knowledge of personal lines insurance (Automobile and Homeowners) Knowledge of Massachusetts Automobile insurance is a plus Ratabase knowledge OneShield personal lines platform knowledge OneShield Designer knowledge Microsoft Office skills necessary (especially excel) JIRA knowledge Service Now knowledge Looking for an individual that can work in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn Someone that works well under pressure Documents requirements/functional designs based on the development methodology used for the policy application system Develops the business requirements/functional design documents by translating the needs, expectations, constraints, and interfaces into a format understandable to both clients and technologists.
