Role :: AVEVA Integration Specialist Location :: Houston, TX(Onsite) Type :: Contract Responsibilities: Integration Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design solutions that align with business goals and technical constraints. AVEVA Configuration: Configure AVEVA software applications to meet integration requirements, including customization and development of interfaces, workflows, and data mappings. Integration Development: Develop custom integration code using AVEVA development tools and industry-standard programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) to connect AVEVA applications with third-party systems and data sources. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and compatibility with existing systems. Address any issues or bugs identified during testing phases. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of integration solutions, including design specifications, technical diagrams, configuration settings, and troubleshooting procedures. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on integrated AVEVA solutions, including best practices for maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest AVEVA software releases, industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing integration capabilities and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an AVEVA Integration Specialist or similar role, with a strong background in software integration and development. In-depth knowledge of AVEVA software products, including but not limited to AVEVA E3D, AVEVA PDMS, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA NET, and AVEVA System Platform. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, SQL, and scripting languages. Familiarity with integration technologies and protocols (e.g., OPC, MQTT, RESTful APIs, SOAP). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Certification in AVEVA software solutions (e.g., AVEVA Certified Administrator) is a plus.
