The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Azure cloud services, particularly in designing landing zones, implementing security measures, and configuring network topologies. Additionally, proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code is essential, along with coding abilities. Responsibilities: Design and architect Azure landing zones tailored to the organization's requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Develop and implement robust security policies and measures within Azure environments, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards. Configure and optimize network topologies in Azure, including virtual networks, subnets, gateways, and routing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into Azure architecture solutions. Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation, ensuring consistency and efficiency in deployment. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Azure architecture, security, and networking. Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's architecture. Work closely with platform engineers to integrate Azure services into the overall platform architecture. Conduct regular assessments and audits of Azure environments to identify and address security and performance gaps. Act as a subject matter expert on Azure cloud architecture, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Azure Architect, with a deep understanding of Azure cloud services. Strong knowledge of Azure security concepts, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance. Expertise in designing and implementing network solutions in Azure, including virtual networks, VPNs, and ExpressRoute. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation. Solid understanding of coding principles and experience with scripting languages such as Power, Python, or Bash. Experience with platform engineering principles and practices is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
