Notes: Large utilities company in Dallas is currently an Informatica shop- will be rewriting data pipeline leveraging Ab Initio instead of Informatica going forward. Need a mid-senior level Ab initio ETL Developer Position Overview: As an Ab Initio ETL Developer at [Company Name], you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using Ab Initio. Additionally, your expertise in Informatica will be leveraged to optimize and enhance existing ETL processes and workflows. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of data integration projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an ETL Developer, with strong proficiency in Ab Initio. Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud is highly desirable. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Unix scripting) for data manipulation and automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
