Experience with large-scale enterprise environments, including high-availability, fault-tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies. Project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Technical Skills: Microsoft Environment: Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Azure services, and other Microsoft technologies commonly used in enterprise environments. Unix Environment: Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems (e.g., Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat), shell scripting, system administration, networking, and security. Virtualization and Cloud: Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Hyper-V, VMware, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching. Storage: Familiarity with storage technologies like SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), RAID configurations, and backup solutions. Security: Awareness of security best practices, tools, and technologies to secure both Microsoft and Unix environments, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and access controls. Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Ability to monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and optimize performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
