Position Overview: As an Ab Initio ETL Developer at [Company Name], you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using Ab Initio. Additionally, your expertise in Informatica will be leveraged to optimize and enhance existing ETL processes and workflows. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of data integration projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop ETL solutions using Ab Initio, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Create and maintain ETL workflows, scripts, and mappings to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems. Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance and scalability, utilizing your expertise in Informatica where applicable. Conduct unit testing and support integration testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of ETL solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ETL processes, ensuring minimal impact on production environments. Document ETL designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an ETL Developer, with strong proficiency in Ab Initio. Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud is highly desirable. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Unix scripting) for data manipulation and automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
