Job Description PowerBI Developer Work with technical team and business users to collect requirements and develop necessary reports in PowerBI. Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights. Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports. Transform business requirements into technical publications. Build multi-dimensional data models. Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models. Support reports in Production. Troubleshoot potential report/data issues and be able to articulate the problem. SQL querying for better results. Positions Contributions to Work Group The team is growing and working through a major Systems Transformation. All reporting previously existed on Cognos off an Oracle database. We are actively building a Data Warehouse in Snowflake and converting reports to Business Objects and PowerBI. While we expect most development going forward to be in PowerBI, we do also support Business Objects and the individual would need to be willing to learn it as needed. Typical Day Work is either assigned through projects (typically in Azure DevOps) or ServiceNow. Most efforts have some form of project update meeting or daily/weekly SCRUM. Education Requirements: 5+ years experience in Reporting and as much experience in PowerBI as possible.
