Position: Powertrain Triage Engineer Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: Triage, commissioning and testing of internal combustion and high voltage vehicle propulsion systems. Analyzing current issues at a propulsion system level and eventual issues coming from interaction with other nodes in the vehicle development process Responsible for performing powertrain debugging and investigating software/calibration issues on pre-production vehicles. Perform first level analysis for each issue including data collection and data analysis. Coordinate with the stakeholders like vehicle build team, SW/Calibrators, EE wiring team to resolve the issues. Provide structured feedback on the issues that are triaged to the immediate supervisors and other stakeholders. Coordination experience with other stake holders for data gathering/ resolution. Basic understanding of BEV, HEV, and PHEV architectures Experience in triage or testing of Powertrain or Electrified Powertrain applications. Experience in analyzing data and interpreting results. Hands on experience with ETAS INCA, Vector CANalyzer, VFLASH etc. Basic knowledge of microcontrollers Basic understanding of electrical and automotive engineering Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required. ---- Thanks & Regards Akilesh Kumar iTech US Inc Email : [email protected] Go Green!
