Job Title: Jira Administrator Location: Winter Park, Florida (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION About Job: Currently we are seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their new Jira Administrator. In this role, the JIRA Administrator will be responsible for playing a crucial role in configuring and maintaining our Cloud-based Atlassian tool suite, including multiple Jira instances, Confluence, and key third-party add-ons. Responsibilities: The Jira Administrator will: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for business processes related to JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket Build and configure JIRA and Confluence instances, ensuring optimal performance and usability Provide application support for JIRA and Confluence to IT teams and other business units Understand JIRA APIs and webhooks to enhance functionality Evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation, & configuration of plug-ins Utilize design skills to define JIRA workflows and related screen schemes for complex projects Implement custom XML-based JIRA gadgets and configure JIRA plugins as required Generate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support runbooks Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports as needed Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 5+ years of experience supporting Jira Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Business, Information Technology, or related fields.
