DL and Visa Role Description: 1.Excellent communication and leadership skills both written and oral.Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience. 2.Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. 3.Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. 4.Must meet productivity standards, complete work in timely manner and strive to increase productivity. 5.Experience defining and developing quality standards. 6.Conduct reviews according to schedule. 7.Communicate and work with customers and other personnel as necessary. 8.Report progress on action item / defect resolution and possible risk areas and ensure action items are addressed and closed in a timely manner based on 9.agreed dates and activities. 10.Ensure that defined processes are followed. 11.Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive. 12.Mentor and share knowledge with State staff. 13.Contributes to continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency of QA and development. 14.Able to anticipate and resolve issues dealing with software quality. 15.Experience in developing and managing short and long-term plans and schedules for organization wide software quality needs. 16.Knowledge of automated testing applications not required - nice to have. 17.Knowledge of ServiceNow project tracking tool not required - nice to have. EXPERIENCE: 7 to 9 years software development, testing and project management REQUIRED SKILLS: 7 years required experience testing I.T. products and applications 7 years required experience testing applications both COTS products and in-house developed 7 years required experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures both manual and automated 7 years required experience designing, developing test cases and logging defects with minimal supervision 1 year required experience working on a project using AGILE methodologies EDUCATION: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
