As a Cobol Conversion Programmer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and converting financial data from various banking software systems to our proprietary platform. This position requires a dedicated professional who can efficiently work as part of an internal installation team. You will interact closely with client associates, gathering necessary artifacts to ensure a successful and efficient conversion of their financial data. Key Responsibilities: Develop applications in Cobol for the conversion and migration of financial data to our proprietary platform. Conduct project analysis to identify specific conversion and implementation requirements. Provide comprehensive consultation to clients throughout the conversion and implementation process. Qualifications: An Associate degree in programming or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in COBOL development. Strong ability to communicate complex technical specifications clearly to clients and implementation teams. Work on-site in Omaha, NE, Alpharetta, GA, or Berkeley Heights, NJ Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience. Prior experience in the banking and/or financial services industry and credit card transactions. Proficiency in SQL and Java Strong ability to communicate complex technical specifications clearly to clients and implementation teams.
