Job Title: Kubernetes Platform Engineer Job ID: VZGTJP00053103 Job Location: Kubernetes Platform Engineer Duration: 12 Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities Build and deploy highly scalable K8s container platform Automate the build of containerized systems with CI/CD, GitOps tools, Helm charts, and more. Setup and installation of containerized API gateway components on the K8 platform Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the container platforms. Perform health checks and validations to ensure smooth installation of the platform components Perform upgrades and OS updates to be compliant with the Governance/Security standards Monitor the platform components and ensure stability of the platform. MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): Strong Kubernetes, Container knowledge with experience in EKS Experience with Automation, IaC, GitOps tools (Argo or Flux), Helm, Kustomize. Experience working in a cloud based environment such as AWS. Experience with CI/CD, and DevOps tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Ansible, and Artifactory. Experience in Application Monitoring and Logging tools like ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, New Relic, Kibana, Grafana. Experience in scripting /Python/Ansible/Terraform development System/network administrator level experience of Unix/Linux DESIRED SKILLS: Experience with API platforms (Apigee etc) AWS/K8s Certifications.
