This role will primarily focus on improving the client payment platform, encompassing duties such as discussing solution design, carrying out implementation, handling production launches, and providing developer support for both fixes and occasional reporting tasks related to payment information. This role is offered as a consulting position and allows for partial remote work in collaboration with the office development team based in New York City. Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and knowledge with the .NET Framework or .NET Core, specifically C# and ASP.NET Extensive front-end development experience using ASP.NET, C# and JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with Web frameworks and Microsoft frameworks (Angular, WinAPI, WCF, EF) Experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL with knowledge of SQL. Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software development best practices Solid experience in unit testing Agile process (unit testing, mocking, refactoring, SCRUM, process communications, code versioning Git). Team player with ability to learn new solutions and new technologies. Ability to work with other technologies (Java based services, MEAN stack applications and services). Ability to discuss and understand business requirements provided by Business Analysts. Ability to adapt to financial software project dynamics and changes. Desired Skills and Experience The ability to bring new solutions for discussion and improve processes is a plus.
