Please mention Visa and Location of consultant Title: Service Now GRC Developer Location: Remote Phoenix,AZ Duration: 12+ Months MoI; Skype Need senior consultant 10-12 Years Job Description: The Sr ServiceNow GRC Developer is Senior level position responsible for developing comprehensive solutions across the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) module. They provide expert level guidance to the ServiceNow Platform team and the Cyber Security functional team and act as SME for GRC process related questions. They must be proficient in business processes and administration of GRC modules and integrations. Development is performed using the Agile Scrum Methodology and this role collaborates regularly with Solution Architects and Platform Architect over ITSM and ITOM modules. This role assumes advanced knowledge on the ServiceNow platformincluding advanced training and certificationsand advanced skills in various front-end web development languages. PROJECT INFORMATION: Primary focus is development of GRC workflows and processes, including Policy Management, Risk Management, Compliance Management, Controls Testing and Standard Operating Procedures for GRC admins. This includes Workspace and Portal view development. This include the from scratch development of the Third Party Risk Management module. A secondary requirement would be experience in the Vulnerability Response module, and Security Incident Response module. Those are fully operational but there will be upgrades and NowAssist features. AI and GenAI related experience PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop solutions within the GRC module, including Compliance Monitoring, Compliance Reporting, Risk Identification, Risk Mitigation processes, Policy Management, Policy Communication processes, Controls Definition, Controls testing, and Control remediation. Partner with Cyber Security team to define procedures for monitoring regulatory compliance, including regular assessments, audits, and reviews of compliance controls and processes. Develop the process for generating compliance reports, including the frequency, format, and distribution of reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Risk Identification: establish processes for identifying and assessing risks, including risk identification techniques, risk registers, and risk assessment criteria. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including risk treatment plans, risk response actions, and risk monitoring activities. Establish guidelines for developing and updating compliance policies and procedures, including stakeholder consultation, approval workflows, and version control. Develop procedures for communicating compliance policies to employees, including training programs, awareness campaigns, and policy dissemination channels. Automation of evidence gathering for SOX Control Testing. Lead integration of new modules, store applications, integrations, and spokes. Interface with executive stakeholders to align ServiceNow solutions with business goals and emerging trends. Lead for the most intricate, rare, and complex issues that require deep platform knowledge and problem-solving expertise. Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on advanced scripting techniques and best practices. Design simple solutions with Solution Architect; align tools capability to business process needs. Oversee development and data management for integrations between ServiceNow Platform and other systems, tools, or services (like Workday or Active Directory) Creates and maintain technical documentation in Knowledge Base MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 4 years experience building or maintaining Rest APIs 4 years experience with web-based development languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, HTTP, XML) 4 years experience with SQL and relational databases 2 years experience with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (included recent Deltas) Experience with Integration Hub, Managed and Custom Spokes Experience building Custom Applications, including new roles, tables, metrics, & reporting. Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences. QUALIFICATIONS: 4 years experience in IT, software development, or ServiceNow administration ServiceNow Certified System Administrator & Certified ServiceNow Developer 3 Additional Certifications within ServiceNow modules Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology. provide expert level guidance to the ServiceNow Platform team and the Cyber Security functional team and act as SME for GRC process related questions.
