This role requires extensive experience in cloud networking, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance network connectivity across multiple locations and cloud environments. The WAN Engineer must be a true expert who is capable of handling projects from start to finish without the assistance of others. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on WAN Proven expertise in AWS networking, specifically AWS Virtual WAN and AWS routing services Ability to manage complex projects on your own without assistance Skills: Strong understanding of WAN technologies and protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.). Proficiency in AWS networking services and tools (AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, AWS VPN, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud networking. Familiarity with network automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools. Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
