Knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies. Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, and collaborates with product development teams on packaged and custom software solutions Author documentation such as techno functional specifications ensuring all details of designed solution ensuring integrations, dependencies, configuration, mapping, test cases and business process rules are included to support a new Stores Point of Sale (POS)effort and the larger SAP roadmap plan Works closely with BASIS, external consultants, cross functional technology associates and business partners to support the new POS project implementation and future implementations including SAP S/4. Heres what an ordinary day might look like: With the initial focus on delivering a Stores POS pilot solution in SAP CAR, a day in the life will span responsibilities focused on problem solving, researching the existing custom programs while authoring techno functional specifications to support the build effort. Responsibilities to include collaborating with key partners, aiding in the execution of smoke, functional, and integration testing through consultation on defect resolution and redesign where necessary. Once the POS Pilot is achieved, a day in the life will shift to a roll out of long-term SAP CAR solution for the balance of the stores and S/4 upgrade. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent from accredited four-year university 5-10 years of experience with configuration/enhancements within SAP FI-CO & CAR Proven track record of aligning IT initiatives with business needs Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written) Retail or Consumer Product Goods Industry experience Systems implementation & project management skills including requirements gathering, detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, cut-over and support Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users, such as prototyping and creating business presentations, or articulating and selling best practices to business executives Keywords: sfour information technology Colorado SAP CAR Techno-Functional Consultant--------Remote [email protected] |
