Job Title : GCP DevOps Lead Location: Princeton, NJ(Hybrid)_ Onsite day-1 _ ONLY LOCAL Candidates needed Duration : Long Term contract Experience Level: 10+ Years Job Description : Delivery high-quality solutions that align with client objectives and industry best practices. Provide architectural guidance and support to clients in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP and AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based systems. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, and GitHub Actions to streamline software delivery processes. Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud environments to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risks. Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns, implementing cost-saving strategies, and leveraging appropriate pricing models. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in GCP services including BigQuery, VertexAI, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, etc. Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, VPC, EMR, RDS, Redshift, IAM, API Gateway, and CloudFormation. Strong expertise in Jenkins, Terraform, and GitHub with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. Proven track record of providing architectural guidance and implementing DevOps best practices in cloud environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated experience in cloud cost management and optimization techniques. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and hands-on experience in implementing security controls. Preferred Qualifications : Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer. Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
