Please let me know if you are interested in the position below Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Location:. fully remote Duration : Long Term Contract Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT Job Description: Azure Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with the Azure Infrastructure Engineering Team to design, implement, and optimize Azure cloud solutions. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Power, and Bicep. Security at the Code Level: Contribute actively to the authoring of secure code, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Perform code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities in the infrastructure code. Pattern Development: Work closely with the team to develop reusable patterns (usable code) for Azure infrastructure. Ensure that patterns are compatible with existing systems and align with security best practices. Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures at the pattern level. Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with security requirements. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, IT Operations, and Security, to integrate security seamlessly into the development lifecycle. Provide guidance and support to other team members on security best practices and principles. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer with a focus on security. Strong proficiency in developing infrastructure as code using Terraform, Power, and Bicep. In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture. Experience in designing and implementing secure patterns for cloud environments. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, GDPR). Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
