Job Title: Network Security Admin Location: Hybrid at Chicago, IL (Need Only Locals) Visa: USC/GC/Only Pay Rate: $50-$55/Hr. on C2C Approximate Duration: 6 months (C2H) Our client is seeking an experienced Network Security Admin for a 6 month contract-to-hire position in downtown Chicago. This is a hybrid onsite position. The role involves assisting senior team members with configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting on enterprise security infrastructure. Duties include security analysis, documentation, contribution to audit responses, development of security policies, and liaising with IT personnel and external customers on resolving security issues. Some physical handling of heavy hardware may be required. Requirements: Strong experience in Palo Alto firewall and Cisco, ideally with PCNSE or other Palo Alto certification and at least a CCNA on the Cisco side. Experience developing security policies, processes, and controls. Excellent writing and communication skills. Experience with both on-premises and cloud systems. Familiarity with SIEM Platform and IAM platform implementation and audits is a plus, particularly in the financial services industry. Qualifications include: 5-10 years experience in IT security, operations, or help desk support. Familiarity with network security protocols, hardware, and software. Knowledge of Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, Juniper SRX firewalls, Juniper & Cisco Routers and switches. Experience with Microsoft OS, Virtual Servers, VPN, MDM, and Cloud infrastructure. Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field. Financial & Investment Banking/Trading Floor experience is a plus. PCNSE or PCNSA, MSP, A+, JNCIA, CCNA, Security+ or CEH certifications desired. Trust is Contagious!!
