Position: Principle Data Scientist (Hybrid) Location: Grand Rapids, MI (3 days onsite/week) Duration : 6 months Job Description . Must Haves: 8+ years experience - will consider PhD to add to years of experience if they have less Previous lead experience Experience with bit query Strong experience building models from scratch- regression, random forest, XG Boost, etc Strong experience with Python- NOT R Experience with data bricks Plus: Google Analytics experience Campaign optimization experience or media mixed model experience D2D: They will be joining one of our large retail clients located in Grand Rapids. This role will Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations and customer insights to understand the journey that will be improved with the data science deliverables. The position will lead, consult or oversee multiple highly complex data science projects/programs/domains that have significant impacts and require in-depth technical knowledge across multiple specific architecture disciplines such as technology, solution, business, or information/data. Several projects they could jump into is a retail media marketing project along with a campaign optimization project both centered around marketing and media initatives.
