What will this person be analyzing/what kind of projects will they be working on No. The projects will already have been set with business steering committees. 6. You had mentioned Environmental appssuch as We have our own internal EMS (Environmental Management System) which includes applications for data capture, data management, data reporting and emissions calculations and submissions to regulatory agencies. 7. What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis Working with end users to collect and understand specific business requirements, document and communicating requirements to developers, testing new features and functions, training and communicating new features and functions. 8. What is a Sr Systems Analyst doing with SQL and Oracle..reporting on it The processes we build for emissions calculations are very data dependent. In order to properly understand how everything works and in order to test solutions the BA must be comfortable with querying the database This person must reside in Houston - and will be onsite in office 100%. Mid - Sr level 5-7 years experience. #1 key: MUST have excellent communication- both written and verbal skills - will need to impress this in the interview! #2 key: must be smart- prefers a Bachelors degree. Must be able to easily articulate the work they have done and mastered- decision they were responsible for making. Manager will get a sense of how smart they are in the initial video interview. #3 key: SQL- very important. Oracle is a plus, SQL Server must know table structures, will not write code.
